P Is for Parrot Craft

With this week’s ABC Craft, learning the letter P will make your child feel as plucky as a parrot! But don’t ruffle his feathers—you’ll want to use only the most beautiful colors for this flashy bird.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• 2 sheets of printer paper
• Card stock (we used red, orange, yellow, lime green, light blue, and dark blue)
• P Is for Parrot Craft templates
• 1 “googly” eye
• Glue stick
• Pencil

Instructions for Assembling Your Letter P Craft

1. Print and cut out the P Is for Parrot Craft templates.
2. Trace the letter P and the parrot’s tail feathers, beak, and eye feather onto card stock.
3. Cut out the letter P and the parrot’s body parts.
4. Glue the letter P to a full sheet of card stock (we used light blue, but you can use any color you like).
5. Tucking them under the edge of the letter P, glue the tail feathers and beak onto the parrot.
6. Attach the eye feather to the letter P, just above the beak.
7. Affix one googly eye to the eye feather.
